I think the first thing you should know is that nobody in country music ‘made it’ the same way. It’s all different. There’s no blueprint for success, and sometimes you just have to work at it.

Indulge us for a moment for a really quick story.  About a year ago, prior to the start of the 2014 season, American Country Star saw some pretty big changes.  We brought in additional owners, added new producers, musicians, judges...you name it.  So why are we telling you this?

Because when everyone sat down, both the old and new folks, we had a huge discussion asking what all of us thought American Country Star was and what it could be.  What we all agreed upon was that ACS couldn't just be about one winner.  Don't get us wrong, we still have a competition and we still have an overall winner, but there needed to be more.

What did we all agree on?  That REAL country music is about family.  It's about doing what's right.  It's helping artists access their potential and see if they have what it takes to be in the industry at any level.  It's providing a legitimate opportunity to help artists develop and grow within a platform to help them connect with real opportunity. It's about not only celebrating the winner, but also helping everyone who chooses to join the Road to Nashville.

So what does that really mean?  It means that we have brought together a group of mentors, judges, producers, musicians, songwriters, and Nashville Nobility that are here to help ALL our contestants...or should we say...our family.  Want to see where your Road to Nashville leads you?  Come join the American Country Star family.
